Abu Dhabi show dazzles fans
SailGP is an international sailing competition where teams compete across a season of grands prix around the world in high-performance F50 foiling catamarans. SailGP is also driven by the aim to become the world’s most sustainable and purpose-driven sports and entertainment platform, racing for a better future.
We are proud to be a partner of the competition, and in early January we continued in our endeavours by producing the second of the UAE SailGP events, following a successful Dubai leg in December.
This time round, we were in the spectacular surrounds of the Mina Zayed, for the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Sail Grand Prix. In addition to full event management, operations and production of the main sailing event, we also had the incredible opportunity to provide the production for global music superstars Take That, following day one of the race. The concert created a truly memorable fan experience following all the race action.
On the water, it was New Zealand who ran out victors, securing a second consecutive victory to cap off a successful sojourn in the Middle East.
