Opening ceremonies & Champion’s Week
NASCAR wanted us to introduce fresh entertainment concepts for opening ceremonies across the circuit including the sport’s biggest stage—The DAYTONA 500.
What we did
We produced the 2019 NASCAR Champion’s Week in Nashville, Tennessee, marking the first time the event was held in Music City.
The event brought together NASCAR’s celebrated Playoff Drivers and some of the biggest names in country music. The fans were offered the chance to get up close to their favorite NASCAR drivers with several events in Nashville, including a Fan Fest and Burnouts on Broadway.
Country music stars Blake Shelton, Cole Swindell Cassadee Pope, Jake Owen, and Brantley Gilbert got to experience the exciting burnouts from the passenger seat of the NASCAR drivers’ customized stock cars.
“CSM Production is an experienced partner to NBC Sports, and as we’ve seen firsthand, venues across the U.S. have relied on their ability to seamlessly execute opening ceremonies, concerts and overall presentation within live sporting events for 30 years. Our broadcast production crews have the utmost confidence in the way they balance the live show within our telecast.”
