CONTENT SERIES DELVES INTO ORGANISATION’S SHARED VALUES
To mark IG’s new partnership with the England cricket team, we produced a series of content episodes for the brand in 2021, highlighting the common values shared by IG and England Cricket.
As one of the world’s leading trading companies with a reputation for high-performance, a focal point of the series was to draw out the parallels between IG and England cricket’s unrivalled use of insight to inform their Pursuit of Mastery.
Throughout the series, England cricketers reflect on some of their most memorable moments and explain the strategy that underpinned their greatest performances.
Episode 1, titled ‘The Art of Preparation’, featured England’s Performance Analyst, Giles Lindsay, who explained how the team uses data and analytics to find the edge out in the middle. The full episode can be viewed below.
The second episode, titled ‘The Inside Scoop on the Journey to World Champions’, featured Jos Buttler and Mark Wood articulating how the side used a range of smart tactics to triumph at the World Cup in 2019.
And in the latest episode of the series, titled ‘Studying the Game’, Jos Buttler, Dawid Malan and Mark Wood discuss how they analyse data on players and grounds to stay ahead of the opposition, which will no doubt come in handy as they prepare to take on Australia in The Ashes this winter.
All episodes were posted across both England Cricket and IG’s channels and received strong engagement on all platforms.
