A night to remember in Charlotte
Headlined by renowned NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr., the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, N.C. enshrined its 12th class on Friday January 21. We were proud to play a major role in the production of the entire induction weekend. The team were responsible for the set design which was specially built to incorporate both a live event and television broadcast. The team also delivered the scenic fabrication and build (including multiple custom elements with LED integration), lighting design and production, technical production, branding, décor, event creative and the run of show.
Our production team worked together with the Hall of Fame Induction host, the Charlotte Convention Center to create a room layout that featured an integration of multiple presentation locations. The final product made for a truly stunning event experience.
The induction ceremony and dinner featured a “fireside chat” which had NASCAR on NBC broadcaster Kyle Petty interviewing the inductees alongside those who had an impact on their careers.
A highlight of the event production was the “red carpet” entrance and interview experience to welcome and showcase the inductees and their families in an noteworthy fashion. The ceremony was streamed live on NBCUniversal’s streaming service Peacock, to NASCAR fans around the United States.
The induction ceremony was preceded by a Jacket Presentation ceremony at the NASCAR Hall of Fame on Thursday, January 20, to bestow the iconic NASCAR Hall of Fame “Blue Jacket” upon inductees Earnhardt, Jr., Red Farmer and the late Mike Stefanik, whose jacket was accepted by his wife, Julie.
We were overjoyed to work with the Charlotte Convention Center and NASCAR to create an outstanding evening to commend the Hall Of Fame inductees of 2022.
