Setting the scene for 13th NASCAR hall of fame class
Headlined by inductees Matt Kenseth, Kirk Shelmerdine, and Hershel McGriff, the 13th NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, N.C. took place on Friday, January 20th in which our Production team proudly played a major role for the entirety of the induction weekend.
CSM Production was responsible for set design, built to incorporate both a live event and live television broadcast, scenic fabrication and build (including multiple custom elements with LED integration), lighting design and production, technical production, branding, décor, event creative, and run of show. CSM Production also worked with Hall of Fame Induction host, the Charlotte Convention Center, to create a room layout that featured an integration of multiple presentation locations. The final product was truly stunning, and CSMP was able to build upon the successes they had in first providing production services for the event in 2022.
The induction ceremony and dinner featured a “fireside chat” where NASCAR and NBC broadcaster, Kyle Petty, interviewed the inductees and those who had an impact on their careers. CSM Production also created a “red carpet” entrance and interview experience to properly welcome and showcase the inductees and their families.
Friday’s induction ceremony was preceded by a Jacket Presentation ceremony at the NASCAR Hall of Fame on Thursday, January 19, to bestow the iconic NASCAR Hall of Fame “Blue Jacket” upon Kenseth, Shelmerdine, and McGriff.
