Month-long celebration part of wider America 150 Anniversary
The U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission was established by Congress to inspire all Americans to participate in our greatest milestone ever — the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States.
Our proud partner, The America 250 Foundation, is the nonprofit, nonpartisan partner of the U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission, bringing private sector energy to the Commission’s work and providing the Commission with the financial and staff resources to bring its vision for America 250 to life.
The main goals of the America 250 Foundation are to inspire the American spirit within each American, grounded in our nation’s founding principles for our continuing journey toward a more perfect union between now and 2026 by educating, engaging, and uniting Americans like never before.
America 250
We were hired by the America 250 Foundation to lead the development and execution of listening sessions, vet and secure non-commercial partnerships, provide strategy, secure ambassadors, and develop and execute select awareness programs throughout the lead up to 2026.
This November, America 250 has created a month-long effort to celebrate veterans and active duty service members. Join America 250 this November in honoring those who have served on behalf of the United States and its citizens. To help recognize these honorable men and women, share a photo HERE of you or of someone you know who is a U.S. military veteran or currently active in the military. Each photo will be added to the America 250 online gallery and be returned to you via email with a creative America 250 filter overlay! Don’t forget to share your photo on social media and use the hashtag #A250NovemberSalute.
